I think it is time for a couple of the girls, and one of the boys, to go. I don't need that many to milk and I really would like to have an all registered Oberhasli herd.
Both of these girls are about 7 months old and come from a friends dairy herd. They were bottle raised on pasteurized milk and are very friendly. They have been dis-budded, vaccinated and wormed. The girls have been running with an older registered Oberhasli buck, so it is possible that they are bred.
Alpine type doeling
I also have an 8 month old registered Oberhasli buckling I would like to sell.
The alpine-type doe resembles a toggenburg more than an alpine. Can any of the females be registered with ADGA? Do they have any registered dams or sires to permit recordation?
ReplyDeleteCan you tell me the registration number on the ober buckling, or at least his parents reg. nos.? Would like to look up his pedigree with ADGA. I have a friend with an absolutely SUPER incredible Ober doeling for sale that is out of Heaven's Hollow lines on the sire side. Heaven's Hollow currently is thee most recognizable winning herd in Colorado and Wyoming. Won top awards at last two National Shows in Louisville, KY If you send me your e-mail address, I will send her pedigree and some photos of her and her dam. She was nominated for the Wisconsin Dairy Goat Assn. doeling raffle which will take place at the fall conference, UW-Platteville on Oct. 16th. Let me know if you would like more info on the conference or be willing to buy raffle tickets (6/$10 or 14/$20). Need not be present to win, but must make arrangements for picking up doeling within 30 days following Conf. if your ticket is drawn. WDGA welcomes new members and the membership fee is very reasonable. There will also be a Select Sale of 2010 bucklings ex very good herds for show and/or production - or both in all breeds.
